HOME SWEET...SOON TO BE HOME

So after about six months of searching and waiting we have found the home we want to buy. We actually put a contract on it after only seeing it once, which is not like Thom and I. Luckily, our realtor has been looking out for us and suggested we go look at it again before we signed our final contract on it. It is a 2400 sq. foot house with four bedrooms, family room, formal living room, dining room, eat in kitchen, nice laundry room, 2 1/2 baths, huge yard, and an attic which could be turned into another room. We are currently doing all of the inspections and so far everything is coming out fine. If all is well we will walk away feeling pretty good. The house is in a great neighborhood and our kids could go to the best elementary school in the district. We continue to pray that everything continues to move along smoothly this time and we have no bumps in the road. Our closing is scheduled for 11:00 on March 20. We do have painting that needs to be done so we don't plan on moving until the following weekend. So we will keep you posted on what happens.

Our Little Ballerina

Caytlynne decided to do ballet again this year, but we are at a different dance studio. I am so glad we changed. The studio is very conservative when it comes the costumes and moves. She actually gets to be a little girl. As you can see she loves to be with her BFF CJ. She is learning both tap and ballet which she is glad to show you anytime there is music on. Her recital is in May for those of you who are interested and her costume will be PINK!

Caytlynne's Party

Can you believe Caytlynne is four? She had a great birthday. We had our family of friends come over to help celebrate. I did learn from Axel's birthday to do something simple and so we had a taco bar. Of course we had to have a pink cake and pink ice cream. Lilly, Chloe, George, Hannah, Hannah, and Danny were all there to play and they had a great time. Caytlynne's BFF was not there because she went to see her Grandparents but that was okay. Caytlynne and CJ went and saw the Princesses on Ice this last weekend so they were able to celebrate just the two of them.

The Long Awaited Booster Seat

Six months ago we made the mistake of mentioning a getting a booster seat to Caytlynne. We didn't know that in the state of Maryland she had to be four and forty pounds before she could ride in one. For six months all we had heard is that she wanted a booster seat for her birthday and it had to be pink just like her friend's CJ. Well, her birthday has come and she got her booster seat. It wasn't pink like her friend's CJ but it was purple. Let me tell you, I have never seen a kid so excited about a booster seat. Thom and I would not had to have gotten her anything else she was so excited about that seat. We have heard "thank you for my booster seat mommy and daddy" for two weeks now. It just proves that it's the small things in life that make us happy.

All Dressed Up

I thought I would share some pictures of Thom all dressed up. We actually just bought this suit before these pictures. You can't tell, but it is navy blue pin stripe. He needed the suit to do a presentation for the Bennet High School project. Unfortunatly, they did not win the project, but no worries. And no, that doesn't mean we are moving. He has one more year on the hospital and then there will be some more new projects starting.
